MEET THE BOARD

  • Jenny Lutkins - WSO President

TN; CrossFit Level 3, USAW Sports Performance Coach, IWF CAT2 Referee

I found weightlifting through CrossFit and became a coach first, then began to compete, then referee at the National level. I would like to use my position on the board to expose youth in TN and KY to the sport of weightlifting. My long term goal is to develop weightlifting as a High School sport in TN.

  • Ryan Claudy Flood

TN; Athlete Representative; USAW Advanced Sports Performance Coach (2015-Current), Former CrossFit Level 1 Coach (2013-2018)

Coach Ryan started out in the world of CrossFit in 2012. After becoming more familiar with the sport through training and competition he acquired his Level 1 coaching certification in 2013 and took his first steps on his coaching journey. Ryan continued coaching, training, and competing in CrossFit until he was bitten by the weightlifting bug in early 2015 and participated in his first Olympic style weightlifting competition mid-way through the year and then later that same year earned his Sports Performance Coaching certification from USAW. Around this time, he also began dedicating his training time to weightlifting.

Ryan has competed at the local, national, international, and world level of competition.
